About Tropical Tea Company

My name is Will Rhoads, CEO of Tropical Tea Company. Growing up in west Texas, Tea has always been a ‘comfort’ to me. However, I first got the idea of Tropical Tea Company while talking with my wife about a Mexico vacation I earned. As the excitement of the trip started to set in I began to imagine the ocean breeze, white sand beaches, and the tropical beverages we would enjoy while sunbathing to the sound of seagulls. To help surpass the time until arriving in Mexico, I thought I would research tropical flavored tea and to my surprise I had little success. Finally, my wife said; “you should offer and feature a website for all those who crave that same tropical get -away” and so the journey began…

My first step was to contact a good friend of mine, Joshua Smith who is also the founder and CEO of mysupplementstore.com and to ask his advice about the possibility of creating a new look for tea. He dabbled around with an online tea store of his own, however due to the fast growing rate of mysupplementstore.com and his dedication to customer service, he decided to drop out of the tea world and focus on growing his current supplement store putting 110% into customer service.

Finally I was ready to begin giving others what I so desperately was looking for; a way to sit on the back porch of my small suburban home and enjoy a glass of unique flavored tea that took me to that Mexico beach. I began looking and trying many different types of tea ranging from Oolong White Tea to Coconut Island Iced Tea. I currently list over 200 unique and flavorful teas and tea accessories at a very low cost. You can also purchase all other types of loose leaf premium discounted teas at the tropicalteaco.com store that are great as hot tea or my personal favorite, iced tea. As I find new teas I will feature them and give a short review about what I think of the tea and try my hardest to keep the cost low.

Currently we are still considered a small business operation with 1 warehouse in the Mid West but growing with leaps and bounds. We strive to send out only the top quality tea and tea accessories at the absolute lowest and competitive prices and most importantly provide excellent customer service.

As of today, my wife and I are still waiting on that Mexico vacation but we hope to get there in the near future; I will keep you updated! Until then, I will go enjoy a nice glass of tea!
